Alwan’s Ink Saving Boost technologies

Alwan ColorHub includes three different levels of ink savings:

• Gray Component Replacement (8 levels of GCR),
• Dynamic Maximum Black (10 levels of DMB),
• Minimum TAC & Ink Usage (5 levels of MTIU).

GCR offers advanced color separation as black is preferred over cyan, magenta and yellow inks.

DMB goes further, using up to 10% less ink and toner than GCR Max without compromising quality.

MTIU technology minimizes TAC (Total Area Coverage), regardless of channel, resulting in ink savings of up to 50% compared to original separation. As a result, costs are significantly reduced, printing speed can increase considerably, and run length stability is unmatched.
